Brief notes about your character's personality: Kat is a very hard working and compassionate individual. She absolutely takes it to heart when she feels she's failed at something, and she has very high expectations for herself. Kat doesn't take shit from people on any level, though she tends to be more lenient with her expectations of other people than she is with herself.

Brief history/background information: Kat was born Katherine von Drachenberg in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Kat moved to Colton, California at age four. She obtained her first tattoo when she was just 14 years old, giving her first tattoo in the same year. Her first professional job was at Sin City Tattoo, and her first big break was her move to True Tattoo. In 2006, Kat agreed to work in Miami Ink during the first season of the shop's reality show. Kat was so favored by the public that the producers had her stay on another season, though she was fired near the end of the season by the shop owner, Ami James, after a series of personal differences. The producers gave Kat her own spin off and allowed her to open her own tattoo shop in Hollywood, CA. Outside of tattooing Kat has also collaborated with profession skaters such as Bam Margera and Mike Vallely on their skatedecks, and is sponsored by Jones Soda. Most recently, Kat started a collaboration between famous bands and tattooers, calling the event Musink. Kat separated from Oliver Peck, her husband of three years, in 2007. She has dated a handful of men since her divorce, and just recently broke up with her last boyfriend, Alex Orbison the drummer of Whitestarr.
